June 6, 2019 was the first annual charity golf tournament held at RedCrest Golf Club in Newmarket. It was a beautiful sunny day for a round of golf with co-workers and friends. The day got started with a lunch consisting of a hamburger or sausage and drink which was sponsored by CAA South Central Ontario. The shot gun start followed with some great, and not so great, golf with the golf carts being sponsored by Towtal Roadside Solutions Inc. Once everyone was done swinging and swearing we gathered for a delicious roast beef buffet sponsored by Canadian Towing Equipment and Premier Truck Group. When everyone’s bellies we full the prizes were handed out. Two teams finished on top with the score of -6 with Premier Truck Group team coming out on top with the tie-breaker win. Second place went to PBL Insurance and third went to the Manito Shrine Club. The most honest team went to the combined teams of Impact Auto Auctions and Terry & Marsh’s Towing. Other prizes that were handed out were as follows:
Contestants Winners
Casey Kimmerley of Art McCaffrey’s Garage – Longest Drive Male – Sponsored by CAA South Central Ontario

Canadian Towing Equipment dodged a bullet again this year with no winner of the Hole-in-One Contest that they are always so kind enough to sponsor.
We would like to thank everyone that took part in making this very enjoyable day a success and helping make it possible for us to support a great charity. We were able to make a donation of $2500.00 to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital Canada.
Hope to see everyone again next year.
